Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton finished on top after the final free practice session at Monza after setting a 1 minute 22.008.
Hamilton was almost four tenths of a second ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg who was second, and almost a whole second ahead of third placed man Sebastian Vettel.
Vettel's team-mate Kimi Raikkonen was fourth with the Williams of Valtteri Bottas four tenths behind him in fifth. Felipe Massa finished his final practice session at Monza in sixth, closely followed by the Red Bull's of Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen.
Sergio Perez, who will be looking to pip the Red Bull's in qualifying was ninth and the top 10 was completed by the Haas of Esteban Gutierrez.
The session was almost trouble free except for a spin at Ascari for Romian Grosjean, a spin that ended his session prematurely. Jolyon Palmer also ran into the gravel at the Parabolica but was able to keep going.
Qualifying begins at 2.p.m local time.
