Max Verstappen has ended practice from Singapore top of the timesheets, with a lap time of 1:42.829. The Dutchman continued to show the strong pace of the Red Bull, who dominated running on Friday around the Marina Bay Circuit.

Sebastian Vettel finished in second place, with his lap time less than half a tenth down on Verstappen's. The German's championship rival Lewis Hamilton was in third place, suggesting that a three-team fight is in the frame for qualifying.

This week has been turbulent for McLaren-Honda as the partnership was officially announced to be ending at the end of the season, however both Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne ended the session in fourth and fifth respectively.

Daniel Ricciardo failed to get a final quick lap in at the end of the session, meaning his best time was over half a second down on his pace-setting teammate. Trailing the Australian was Nico Hulkenberg in the Renault, who also appears to be strong this weekend.

Eighth and ninth saw the two front-running Finns out of position. Valtteri Bottas in the Mercedes headed Kimi Raikkonen in the Ferrari, with both drivers appearing to struggle with set-up changes that were made overnight. Rounding out the top ten was Sergio Perez.

Marcus Ericsson was the only car to fall victim to the wall during the session. While many kissed the concrete, He lost the rear of the car into Turn 19 and hit the wall, with his rear wing and diffuser taking some hefty damage.
