Sauber have taken the decision to replace the engine of Marcus Ericsson before the second free practice.
The move comes after the Swede struggled with turbo problems in the first session of the day. The former Caterham driver finished the session in fifteenth, with a fastest time of 1 minute 50.473 seconds
Team mate Felipe Nasr was 1.3 seconds slower than Ericsson and only drove seven laps in what was a difficult morning for Sauber in Azerbaijan.

Oddly, neither Honda nor Renault struggled so far today, whereas both Mercedes and Ferrari had technical problems.
