Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo were pleased with their performance in qualifying for the Malaysia Grand Prix.
Versstappen took third place, behind the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Earlier in the weekend he collapsed in the heat after getting out of his car too quickly, but he proved there was no lasting effects come Saturday afternoon.
"The whole weekend has been quite positive," said the young Dutchman, celebrating his 19th birthday this weekend. "Long run pace looks promising and I'm really pleased to be P3"
Ricciardo was impressed with Red Bull's improvement over the weekend, and was satisfied with fourth, despite expecting to challenge for third.
"I always expect a challenge from Max (P3). He's pipped me today but I'm pleased with the overall gains we've made"
