Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has set the best time on the morning of the first day of the in-season test in Bahrain this week. He also caused a red flag by stopping at Turn 10. Mercedes was able to solve the problem quickly, so Hamilton could resume his programme. Sean Gelael also stopped, in Turn 11, and he was a spectator for much longer. McLaren has hit trouble again; a engine change was needed after Honda discovered a water leak in the Energy Recovery Systems.
