Nico Rosberg couldn't displace his team mate Lewis Hamilton during qualifying for the Malaysia Grand Prix, but still rates his chances for the race itself.
Rosberg was left under pressure as he only had one lap to bring himself from fifth on the grid to pole position. He managed to get up to second despite a mistake on the final corner.
Although he was four tenths off his team mate's pace, Rosberg feels he can still deliver in tomorrow's Grand Prix.
"Lewis' lap was very quick, so it was always going to be difficult," he said.
"I would have come close but I had a mistake in the last corner; something just wasn't going right there – I couldn't get the settings right and always got a big oversteer moment."
"Second place, I've got to live with that now, but as we know from this year, second place doesn't mean that a victory isn't possible for tomorrow, we've seen that so many times," he said.
