Max Verstappen tops the FP2 timesheet

Red Bull's Max Verstappen finished free practice two on top after setting a blistering 1 minute 48:085.

Verstappen finished two and a half tenths ahead of his team-mate Daniel Ricciardo. The Force India's look to have a competitive package this weekend as Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez came home third and fifth respectivley.

Nico Rosberg could only manage sixth quickest but Mercedes are expected to up their pace again tomorrow. Kimi Raikkonen was seventh, Romain Grosjean was eight and Jenson Button was ninth. Rounding out the top ten was the second Haas of Esteban Gutierrez .

Championship leader Lewis Hamilton did not focus on his qualifying pace as he is expected to start at the back of the grid no matter where he finishes. Another interesting performance was the Manor of Pascal Wehrlein who was only a tenth of a second away from tenth in the timesheets.
