Perez hails "one of the best weekend of my career"

Sergio Perez believes that today he rounded off one of the best weekends of his Formula One career.

Perez crossed the line in eighth position after a long battle with Daniil Kvyat.

"I think this weekend was one of the best of my career,"said Perez.

"Obviously, very happy with the behaviour of the car today, I actually was surprised how the team was able to manage the race, which took place without any problems."

"It's just a shame that Nico had his incident at the start or we could have scored more points."

Perez's eighth place finish means that Force India once again jump Williams for fourth position in the constructors' standings as Williams duo Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas failed to score a point.
