"It was not really a frustrating session, it has just not been my weekend so far,” hesaid. “I have not really got many good laps out there and I was not able to string them together. That was the case today."
He also praised his team mate's pole position, saying it showed what the team's car can really do.
Many expected Mercedes to struggle this weekend after they were off the pace at last year's Singapore Grand Prix. However, Rosberg's top times in second and third practice, as well as his pole position have proved doubters wrong.
"Nico did a good job, obviously showed the true potential of the car and hopefully tomorrow I will try and at least get one step up and get the 1-2 for the team," said Hamilton.
"I've not really looked at the long runs to be honest and obviously I didn't get to do the long runs yesterday so I'm not quite sure," he added. "I think Nico did some running but our cars are set-up a little bit different. I don't think we're in a bad position but I'll find out tomorrow for the first time."

He did not lose pole,it was not his in the 1st place.

Rosberg's pace was amazing. Wonder how Merc will do tomorrow though, I personally think Red Bull will claim their second win for this year. Was disappointed that McLaren was so far back though.
