Max Verstappen will start the British Grand Prix in P3 after out qualifying team-mate Daniel Ricciardo for the first time.
The second row start is the Spanish Grand Prix winner's best starting position in his short Formula One Career
"I think in general I was unlucky in the last two qualifying sessions but the race pace was always well," he said. "Today was a good quali, and the car was performing as it should be.
"We are very strong compared to the other teams. P3 was the maximum we could achieve today, Mercedes look like they have a turbo button so I'm happy with P3"
