FP1: Hülkenberg best of the rest behind Mercedes

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has set the fastest time in the first free practice for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. With a 1:31.654 he went 0.033 quicker than team mate Nico Rosberg. Force India driver Nico Hülkenberg was best of the rest in third place, eight tenths of a second behind Hamilton. Ferrari did a test lap with the 'Halo 2'. Charles Leclerc made his F1 debut for Haas F1 and spun in Turn 3. He ended up in P18.

    Mercedes guys were on mediums and created a huge gap between the rest of the field.
