FP1: Ferrari takes charge on soft tyres in Spain

Ferrari has claimed the first two positions in the first free practice for the Grand Prix of Spain. Sebastian Vettel was the only one to go under 1:24 and led team mate Kimi Raikkonen. Both Ferrari drivers used the soft tyres, while Mercedes and Red Bull Racing didn't do any laps on the softest available compound yet. Felipe Massa spun in Turn 5, Sergio Perez suffere dan oil leak and Esteban Ocon ended the session early with an issue.

  • I wonder why Button were so far behind the rest. Any news on what tyres McLaren were using, fuel load and so on?
