Iedere ouder denkt toch dat kun kinderen beter zijn dan wie ook ter wereld.

Lijkt me een slechte zaak als ouders dat denken.
Als je het nergens aan lunt spiegelen snap ik dat.
Maar dit is triest voor Pa Perez em genant voor Checo.

Nee, ouders die een plaat voor de kop hebben zijn niet best.
Soms moet je je kind beschermen voor bepaalde zaken.
Anders krijg je die taferelen zoals 'vroeger' bij idols en x-factor.

@Mr.Roft; geen idee of je zelf kroost hebt, maar wat jij beschrijft heb ik geen last van. Ik moet nog zien of de oudste z'n Mavo haalt aangezien ie maar weigert in te zien dat je ook daar nog enige inzet voor moet tonen. Als ouder mag je wat verwachten van je kroost, maar er in de media zo'n totaal enorme druk opleggen als die ouwe Perez nu doet kan heel schadelijk zijn voor kinderen. Je moet doelen formuleren die realistisch zijn, anders werkt het niet.

@Beemerdude, gelukkig zijn er nog uitzonderingen die de regel bevestigen. Ik heb zelf geen kinderen, maar ik geef wel buitenschoolse (denksport) les op een basisschool.
Te vaak zie ik ouders naar me toe komen om te vertellen dat hun kind hoogbegaafd is en dat ze dit gemakkelijk kunnen. Meestal krijg ik dan na een jaar de schuld dat ze nog niet met de hoogste groep meekunnen. Terwijl meestal het kind totaal verpest en lui is en daardoor bijna geen voortgang maakt.
Mijn doel is ook niet de beste speler creëren, maar iedereen plezier laten hebben in spelen van een spel.

Ik wil absoluut niet zeggen dat AMLO een goede president is, maar Mexico is decennialang de facto een eenpartijstaat geweest en AMLO is een van de weinige politici die tegen die partij (de PRI) gestreden heeft. De film "La Dictatura Perfecta" die volgens mij nog steeds op Netflix staat, laat volgens mijn Mexicaanse vriendin heel scherp zien hoe de PRI in samenwerking met de media Mexico onder controle hield (het is een komedie, maar ondanks het parodische karakter wijkt de film niet veel af van de werkelijkheid). Mijn impressie van AMLO is dat hij wars van uiterlijk vertoon is en zich bekommert om het gewone volk. Ik kan er naast zitten, maar ik ben vooralsnog niet negatief over AMLO.
