Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has set the fastest time on the first day of the Spanish Grand Prix. The German did a 1:23.922 on the soft tyre. Kimi Raikkonen was his closest rival, the Finn from Ferrari was 0,254 slower. Lewis Hamilton completed the top three. Renault had problems as Jolyon Palmer suffered a puncture on the main straight. Raikkonen had an issue with the fuel system, but Ferrari was able to fix that.
