Otmar Szafnauer, the team principal and chief executive officer for Racing Point says that bringing in Lance Stroll to race alongside Sergio Perez has been good for the team.
He believes that the new pairing has added a different dynamic which is benefiting everyone.
Following Force India's demise into administration, Lawrence Stroll led a consortium of investors into purchasing the team creating Racing Point Force India last August.
Lance Stroll was then signed to drive for the team which ousted Esteban Ocon, leaving the highly regarded Frenchman without a seat for 2019.
Ocon and Perez had numerous on-track battles, many of which ended with contact and their relationship was regarded as tense. Early indications suggest at this early stage that Perez and Stroll are working well together, while both have already picked up points for the midfield team.
"It is a different dynamic," Szafnauer said. "It's good. It's different for many reasons, but it's very good. They share work together, try to get the best out of the car."
Stroll is in his third season in F1, having started at Williams and has already impressed his new team principal: "He's good, we can teach him some stuff. And it's one of those things where with experience you learn."
"He's young. He's 20 years old. And with a couple of years he'll only get better and better at this. He's very good, very talented. Great feedback, know what he likes with the car, and he's a good driver."

I still think Stroll is sub par. A peaky performer. Capable of outstanding performances once every 8 races or something like that. He's also likely, the worst qualifier in F1
