Toro Rosso's 2018 challenger, the STR13, will be fired up and driven for the first time on February 21 at Misano. The Red Bull junior team will be hosting a filming day on the week before pre-season testing gets underway in Barcelona.
Teams are permitted to conduct two promotional events each season, however no test may exceed 100km in length. Only promotional Pirelli tyres may be used during the private runs. The test will allow Toro Rosso to get a very basic understanding of the car, running with the Honda engine for the first time.

While the test happens on the Wednesday of that particular week, the car will be formally presented in the Circuit de Catalunya pitlane on Sunday, February 25, the day before it begins its official pre-season test.
