Nico Rosberg has dominated the first day in Bahrain. The Mercedes driver used the supersoft tyres to post a 1:31.001 and nobody could match that. Lewis Hamilton came close, but still has a gap of two tenths. More impressive was Jenson Button, who put McLaren up into third place. Sebastian Vettel ruined his attempt on supersofts by running wide in Turn 15. And the Ferrari driver missed the last fifteen minutes due to a lose rear wheel.
