The first day of the second day of winter testing has given a Mercedes on top. Nico Rosberg did a 1:23.022. It looked like Valtteri Bottas was not much slower, but there was a big difference in used tyre compounds. Rosberg was on the soft, Bottas on the ultrasofts. Haas F1 Team had to end the day early after a fuel system issue. Manor Racing had a troubled morning due to an oil leak. Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen and Kevin Magnussen caused red flags today.

It was a good day for McLaren today. I severely doubt they'll be this strong in the actual season, but it'd be fantastic if they were.
