"I need to see what I want as well, if I want to stay, and if I can clearly see the team has something to believe in.
Felipe Nasr has reiterated that he wants to be sure of Sauber's future before committing to a new deal with the team.
The Swiss outfit has struggled with financial problems in recent years but a rescue deal for the team is reportedly imminent.
Despite the promising future though, Nasr wants reassurances before tying himself to the team
"I do have faith in the team. I've believed in them, even from last year, when I had a really good start to the season, my first season in Formula 1," Nasr told Autosport. "I know the difficult times they have had, which is all related to one thing, which is the development, the financial situation. We have struggled.
"From my side, I still have faith here, if we get the things together," he continued. "If so, then I'm sure it can be a place I can perform well."

Big talk when he only now has performed better than Ericsson in some races, and in a few of those it was due to PU problems for Ericsson (and he isnt a great driver either, good, but nothing special). Nasr should be happy that he get a seat at all.
