Pascal Wehrlein has said that driving for a backmarker team like Manor means it's difficult to build a reputation and for people to see what he is capable of.
Although he scored points at the Austrian Grand Prix, the German pointed out that it's hard to impress people at the back of the field.
"First and foremost this is a huge opportunity for me and I need to take advantage of this chance, of course," said Wehrlein after the second day of testing at Silverstone. "But the problem is getting noticed at Manor is difficult."
"If you don't include the weekend in Austria, there has not been much of a highlight. On the other hand if Austria had been a bad weekend, I would have no chance to draw attention to myself this year."
