I would be surprised to see this occur. Hulkenburg's deal with Force India has an apparent financial component that appears beneficial to FI, which needs cash. Whereas - in a transtion year with Honda, etc. where so much else has to be gotten right on huge investments - I can't imagine McLaren allowing new-driver Alonso the same freedom of movement as Hulkengurg arranged.

Could this be a sign that Alonso is going to drive for a new F1 Audi team? There would be no competitive stumbling blocks with such an arrangement...... AND it would make sense; Porsche to remain and fly the flag in WEC and Audi to enter F1...... It would also make sense of some of the cryptic statements from Alonso...... I'm still holding out hope!!
