Carlos Sainz will be the first to try out the 2016 car for Scuderia Toro Rosso. The Spaniard will open the test season for the Italian team on February the 22nd. A Toro Rosso press officer confirmed the test schedule to F1Today.net.
Max Verstappen will drive on the second day of testing and will hand over the new STR11 to Sainz again for the third day, before closing the first week of testing on February the 25th. Toro Rosso will swap the schedule for the second week of testing; Verstappen-Sainz-Verstappen-Sainz.
This schedule might be subject to changes.

Torro Rosso are bringing a 2015 car to the first test. The 2016 car will only appear at the second test. So Verstappen will actually be the first to try out the 2016 car.
