Knowing that there will be a "earning curve' (translated: period with a non-competitive new car) and hoping against that are two essential and concurrent parts of every racing driver's mental make-up. Why is everyone trying to intellectualize the disappointment that Ferdi must obviously feel? It's natural. Let it be what it is.
