Sergey Sirotkin is preparing for his Formula 1 debut as a racing driver next season. The 18-year old driver has taken a race seat at the Swiss
Sauber Formula 1 team, with the team preparing for his debut.
The Russian driver manages a busy schedule since the contracts were signed. Currently racing for ISR in the World Series championship, Sirotkin is also fitness training to adapt for the physically demanding power of a Formula 1 car.
Sources told F1Today.net that Sirotkin has completed a two-day test with Sauber at the Italian circuit of Vairano. His test began a constructive programme to get familiar with the power and behavior of a Formula 1 car on a circuit which is often used by Sauber for shakedowns and straight line tests.
This weekend Sirotkin will be in Paul Ricard to race in the World Series by
Renault. Next week he should be in action again for Sauber to test the C30 in Italy.
