Lotus have launched their contender for the 2013 season. Shown live from Enstone, drivers Kimi Räikkönen and Romain Grosjean removed the sheet from the Lotus E21 to reveal a beautiful car.
The car itself is quite similar to the Lotus E20, however there is the addition of a few sponsors and a splash of red. The car still has the stepped nose, but James Allison stated that if they can find a panel that can give some extra downforce, the team will put on in place. It looks like the E21 has an exhaust system similar to the RB8 the Coanda effect.
Both drivers said that they are hoping for better results than 2012, and to try to push into the top 3, after finishing 4th in the Constructors Championship last season.
The next team to launch their car is McLaren, on the 31st of January.
