Following an incident with Dmitry Suranovich (Marussia Manor Racing) in Round 2 of the GP3 Series at Monaco, Conor Daly (Lotus GP) has been handed a 10 place grid penalty which will be served in Race 1 of this weekend's race event in Valencia.
Stewards penalised the American after he "collided with the rear of another competitior and removed the rear wing. After colliding again with the rear of the same competitor, the race was red flagged."
Therefore, Daly will drop 10 places from his qualifying position for Race 1 in Valencia.
