Susie Wolff has lost a court appeal to have her ban on driving overturned. She was recorded doing 35mph in a 30mph zone in June 2015 in the village of East Hanney, Oxfordshire.

The 34-year-old former Williams test driver already had nine points on her driving licence for speeding offences, and claimed that the ban would affect her charity work.

"I'm not a girl racer, I save my speed for the race track. "It is a hugely embarrassing situation to find myself in, I'm a professional driver and to be caught speeding and to have my licence taken away for speeding, it would have an effect on my reputation."

Wolff also claims she is a role model in her programme 'Dare to be Different' which encourages females to get involved and feel comfortable "in male-dominated environments and professions".

But Recorder Sarah Campbell dismissed her appeal and told her: "It may well be an embarrassment as far as her position is concerned, but it may be a salutary lesson to those aware of the facts."

So Toto could not protect you here either. You are lucky that you are where you are. Here in Canada, ANY points against your public Driving License disqualifies you from earning points towards a racing license.

That's a pathetic rule tbh. Roadcar driving is something totally different to racing.
