Marcus Ericsson: "That was the race of my career so far"

Marcus Ericsson feels that last weekend's Mexican Grand Prix was the greatest race of his career.

The Swede again missed out on points, finishing 11th after starting back in 15th.

But despite Sauber's barren run continuing, former-Caterham driver Ericsson was thrilled with his race.

"That was the race of my career so far; it was amazing," he said. "After that start collision we had a damaged front wing and quite a bit of damage on the right side of the floor. We lost six or eight points of rear downforce from that collision.

"Somehow the pace was really good, I managed to keep the pace in the tires for the whole race on the medium set," Ericsson added. "It was such a good race but still so frustrating to be there in 11th.
