Mercedes has ended the Pirelli test in Bahrain early after a scary moment this morning. One of the tyres on Nico Rosberg's car exploded on the main straight, causing him to spin at 320 km/h. He didn't hit anything, but the W04 still needed some repairs.
With limited time remaining Mercedes decided to pack up. Rosberg posted a message on Twitter about the tyre blowout, which was deleted later in the morning. Red Bull Racing, Ferrari and Scuderia Toro Rosso continue to test until the end of today.
