Romain Grosjean showed the potential of the redesigned Lotus today at the Circuit de Catalunya, Spain. The French driver was back in the car after the chassis problems last week, when Lotus was forced to cancel testing in Barcelona.
Jenson Button finished as second with Perez on the third place on the timesheets. Webber, Rosberg, Vergne, Di Resta, Massa, Petrov and Maldonado completed the top 10.
The test will continue tomorrow.
