Alfa Romeo Racing has announced a new partnership with Italian clothing brand EGV1. It is understood that the custom clothing brand will suppily the official team wear for Alfa Romeo Racing in 2019.
Founded in 1999, EGV1 has become one of the biggest names in corporate business clothing, specialising in aviation and racing to the corporate and business world. It is reported that they also intend to produce replica teamwear to be available for purchase by fans.
“It is a pleasure to have EGV1 join our team as the official team wear partner,” Alfa Romeo Racing Team Principal Frederic Vasseur commented. “The gear worn by our team and drivers represents our brand and spirit – therefore, it is an essential part of how we approach each championship season in Formula 1. We look forward to a successful collaboration.”
It is understood that the brand and their logo also intend to feature on the new car, which will be released in Barcelona on the 18th of February. EGV1 owner Valerio Fumagalli has said he is very excited and enthusiastic for the future with the Alfa Romeo Racing team.
