Kimi Raikkonen finished fourth at Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix, but he had to make progress from seventh after a 10-second stop-go penalty that was issued for failing to slow under waved yellow flags.
These were brought out on lap 8 of the race, when Max Verstappen's Red Bull broke down on the Kemmel Straight and had to be cleared away. Raikkonen was shown on a replay to have continued at full throttle along this part of the track, hence the penalty. When asked whether he thought it was fair, the Iceman said: "Not in my view, but in the stewards' view it was.

"The car was half behind the barriers on the straight. I don't think there was anything dangerous, far from it. They feel they had to give me a penalty, this time it went in my direction and the next time in someone else's. It is just one of those things as sometimes it feels very unnecessary how they give penalties."
