Sergio Perez has never been one to speak about his personal life, but he has deemed the announcement that he is expecting a child with his girlfriend too important to keep secret. The Mexican has announced that his partner Carola is due after the 2017 season.
Perez described the situation as best thing that's happened in his life: "I never speak about my private life, but I am in the best moment of my life and happier than ever," said the Mexican. "It is a great blessing."

The Force India driver is 27 years old and enjoying one of his strongest seasons in his career. Despite retiring from the last race in Baku, Perez currently sits in P7 in the driver's championship with 44 points. Other fathers on the current F1 grid are Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen, Romain Grosjean and Felipe Massa.
