Romain Grosjean made a victorious return to the Trophee Andros ice racing championship at the weekend, winning at Alpe d'Huez.
The Haas F1 Team driver, racing a Renault Clio in the event, began the final from pole position, and led the eight-lap race from start to finish, holding off Jean-Philippe Dayraut.
Former-Formula One driver Olivier Panis was battling recently ousted Audi DTM driver Adrien Tambay for the final podium spot when the two collided metres from the finish line.
Both were later excluded from the race after TV images saw the pair ome to blows after their on-track coming together.
