Kevin Magnussen has said that Renault's return to the points last time out in Singapore has given the team a lift.
The returning works team has struggled so far this year, but Magnussen has been in the points twice this season.
"It was really satisfying for myself and I was very pleased for the team because it was a boost for us all," Magnussen said. "I know how everybody back in Enstone and in Viry is working hard so a lift is just very welcome."
After the points in the night race in Singapore, Magnussen is hoping he can put together another strong performance in Malaysia this weekend.
"We must now continue to improve," he said, "and hopefully we can do the same again in Malaysia!"
