Jenson Button has revealed he would be content retiring from Formula One with just one world championship to his name.
The Briton, who won the championship in 2009 for Brawn, will take a year out from F1 next year, but has said that were he to not return, he would not be disappointed having only won the championship once.
"As a kid, the dream was to win the world championship in Formula One. I've reached my goal," he told the media at a fan event for McLaren sponsor Esso yesterday.
"Would I like to win more? Of course, but would I retire upset? No. I'm very happy winning one world championship, 15 Grands Prix, and having 50 podiums."
