Ice Hockey star Henrik Lundqvist enjoyed a few hot laps with Sauber Formula One driver Marcus Ericsson at the weekend, while on holiday in his native Sweden.
Lundqvist, who plays as a goaltender for the New York Rangers, experienced the ride with his compatriot at Karlskoga Motorstadion during a round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, a support event of the popular Scandinavian Touring Car championship.
"Nice day at Gelleråsen," said Lundqvist on his Facebook page. "Good racing and really fun to take a few laps with Marcus Ericsson."
At last month's Hungarian Grand Prix Ericsson revealed that he is a Porsche owner and that he drives a Panamera when away from the track. The car he drove at Karlskoga Motorstadion was a 991 generation 911 GT3 RS, similar to the car Max Verstappen bought earlier this year.
