Renault had promised to do some qualifying runs this morning and kept that promise, but Kevin Magnussen's 1:23.933 on supersofts was not enough for the first position. Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes went three tenths quicker on the soft tyres. Haas F1 Team did only one lap due to a problem with the turbo and the Sauber C35 refused to run for most of the morning on Marcus Ericsson's debut with the car.

Seems like Ferrari might have a serious problem with the vibrations on the engine.
This seems to be the cause of the problems with the turbo and fuel system.
