This is it, the long wait is over and Formula 1 awakens from its Winter hibernation. The Circuito de Jerez this week hosts the first test ahead of the 2014 season. The new regulations are certainly set to shake things up, with the narrower noses and V6 Turbocharged power units being the main differences.
Mercedes, Red Bull Racing, Caterham and Force India will launch their new cars on this morning, ahead of the on-track action starting. Marussia are currently missing, with the MR03 having been kept at the factory due to a technical fault. Lotus are also confirmed as being absent for the week.
Rookie, Marcus Ericsson will get the first drive of the Caterham CT03. Also testing is Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Jenson Button (McLaren) and Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull Racing). Kimi Raikkonen will drive the Ferrari F14 T, which will be his first time in the Prancing Horse since 2009. Sergio Perez will also make his Force India debut.
