Red Bull Racing extends with partners Renault and Nissan

Following a very successful 2011 season, Red Bull Racing will benefit from an enhanced supply of
vehicles from its core automotive partners for the 2012 season. Leveraging the co-operative power of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, a unique triumvirate was created last season with Red Bull Racing, focused on high-profile marketing and technical activities around Formula One. The contracts to supply Red Bull Racing with vehicles and related services have been expanded for the 2012 season.

While the Renault RS27 V8 powers Red Bull Racing on the F1 tracks, Sebastian Vettel will continue to drive the Infiniti FX 50S, Mark Webber and reserve driver Sebastien Buemi are at the wheel of the Infiniti M37S.

To support the transportation needs of Red Bull Racing at their factory in Milton Keynes, UK, and for all operations in Europe and around the world throughout the 2012 Formula One season, the Nissan Motor Company Light Commercial Vehicles Business Unit will extend the supply of a light commercial fleet. Composed of over 30 vehicles, including the award-winning Nissan NV200 and highly acclaimed Nissan NV400, the Nissan Light Commercial Vehicle Business Unit becomes an official supplier to the Red Bull Racing team for 2012.

Renault Trucks will continue to supply nine Renault Magnums fitted with the very latest technological enhancements to transport the RB8 chassis, Renault RS27 engines and race team equipment throughout the extensive F1 season. Additionally, Renault Trucks will transport Red Bull Racing's technical facilities for the paddock to support both engineers and technicians at each race.

Christian Horner, Team Principal, Red Bull Racing, commented: "Within such a highly pressured and challenging environment as Formula One, we need reliable partners taking care of all our versatile transportation needs all over the world. Extensive travel is part and parcel of Formula One, and our material, staff and guest transportation are an essential part of our successful operations."
