Jake Dennis takes victory in sprint race

Jake Dennis has won his second GP3 race of the year after claiming victory in the sprint race at Malaysia.

Dennis started from third on the grid and took the lead going into turn one, and held on to cross the line over three seconds ahead of Nerei Fukuzumi.

Finishing in third was Jack Aitken. Matthew Parry managed to hold of increased pressure from championship leader Charles Leclerc to take home fourth place. Leclerc himself was fifth.

Nyck De Vries was sixth, Arjun Maini finished seventh and taking home the final point in eight position was Alexander Albon.
