Concerns Over Hamilton: “Then He’s Unbeatable”

Lewis Hamilton is enduring a deeply frustrating season in Formula 1. The Ferrari driver has shown little so far, and internal tensions within the team are rising. Former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has voiced support for Hamilton, insisting the seven-time world champion will never give up.

Hamilton made the highly publicised switch from Mercedes to Ferrari last winter. He hoped to chase major success with the Scuderia, and after winning the sprint race in China, the season seemed to be moving in the right direction. But that momentum disappeared quickly. Hamilton has not come close to the Grand Prix podium since and has even struggled to fight for the top five.

At last weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix, Hamilton retired after being involved in several early-race incidents. The situation grew even more tense when Ferrari chairman John Elkann publicly criticised the drivers, saying they should talk less and focus more on racing.

Does Hamilton Still Have Something to Prove?

Hamilton’s frustration is unmistakable, but Montoya says it does not mean he is preparing to quit. Speaking to a betting site, the Colombian said: “I think Hamilton has something to prove. He’s not going to rest or give up. He wins the title or goes down fighting. Next year he will give everything. He’s frustrated because he believes he is doing more than what Ferrari is doing for him.”

“Then He’s Truly Unbeatable”

Montoya also dismissed the idea that Hamilton is talking too much. “He feels like he’s putting in a lot of effort to make things work, but the team isn’t matching his energy. If you give Hamilton the right tools, he can fight at the front. When everything clicks and the motivation is back… my God, then Hamilton is truly unbeatable.”
