Red Bull Secures Major Sponsorship Deal with Carlyle

Red Bull Racing has announced a significant new sponsorship agreement with investment giant Carlyle, adding another heavyweight partner to the reigning champions’ commercial roster. The deal will not only expand the team’s financial backing but will also bring visible changes to the RB livery.

Building on a strong sponsor portfolio

The Austrian outfit already boasts Oracle as its title sponsor, along with recent agreements such as 1Password. Compared to rivals like McLaren, Red Bull has traditionally maintained a leaner commercial line-up. The new partnership with Carlyle — one of the world’s largest private investment firms — represents a major addition and underlines the team’s global
appeal.

Livery and branding updates
Carlyle will officially become Red Bull’s “investment manager partner,” but the collaboration goes much further than the title. The firm’s logo will be prominently displayed on the cars of Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda, placed just above the front wheels in a highly visible position. Branding will also feature on driver overalls, the pit wall, and within the team’s garages, ensuring Carlyle a strong presence both on and off track.

Pride within Red Bull
Team principal Laurent Mekies expressed delight at the long-term deal in the official announcement: “We are thrilled to welcome Carlyle to the team. Both organizations are built on world-class talent, bold thinking, and the drive to perform at the highest level. As an iconic player in the global financial world, Carlyle brings a long-term perspective combined with an extensive network. We look forward to building a powerful partnership both on and off the track.Formula 1 demands relentless focus and precision, and we see a clear alignment with Carlyle’s approach.”

A statement of intent
The multi-year agreement highlights Red Bull’s strength as both a sporting powerhouse and a commercial brand. With Carlyle now on board, the team continues to demonstrate its ability to attract global partners, reinforcing its dominance not just on the track but also in the business world.
