Force India driver Esteban Ocon has tipped Lance Stroll to find a solution to his problems, as the Canadian's struggles continued yesterday in Montreal. The 18-year-old will start the race from seventeenth on the grid, while his teammate Felipe Massa starts ten positions ahead.
Stroll has struggled to find his feet in Formula 1 so far and is yet to out-qualify or out-race his veteran teammate. Ocon, who also makes his full-season debut this year, doesn't expect Stroll to continue with his issues and is confident the Formula 3 European champion can find a way to improve.
"First, I have more experience than him, which makes all the difference," Ocon said when asked about the performance deficit between the two. "I was better prepared than him. I did a lot of testing with some important teams. Also, I drove and rubbed shoulders with several F1 drivers before that."
