Force India have requested to have an advance on their championship payments according to Autosport.
The request, which requires the unanimous agreement from all teams before going through, mirrors a similar request made last year by Manor, Sauber, and Force India.
It is thought Force India's request centres around cashflow, rather than next year's budget which is believed to be in place.
Championship payments, based on the previous year's position and the team's historical status, are paid between February and November, leaving a potential cash shortfall over the winter when new cars are build and a number of staff changes take place.
Force India are set for increased income next year if they can hold onto fourth in hte constructors' championship.
