Kimi Raikkonen says latest Ferrari updates aren't bringing much more performance

Kimi Raikkonen has said that Ferrari's latest upgrades haven't given Ferrari serious gains in performance.

Ferrari has slipped behind Red Bull in recent races but have been working hard to bridge the gap to their rivals.

"We cannot really compare it with the previous parts," he is quoted by Crash.net. "We would never put any parts in the car if we didn't think they were better than the old ones, but it's not a night and day difference. It's a small difference but any gain is always welcome."

"We try to gain as much as we can, but I wouldn't say it was because of the upgrades that we were more competitive in Japan," added the 2007 world champion. "I don't know the reason we were more competitive here but, like I said, all these things helped."

The Gods smiled upon you Kimi. Just smile back once in a while and they might do it again.
