Daniel Riccardo is very much looking forward to returning to Japan for the Japanese GRand Prix this weekend.
The Australian headed straight to the 'Land of the Rising Sun' after winning the Malaysia Grand Prix, which he said took some time to let sink in.
"It was bloody awesome, it's been good," he is quoted by The Syndey Morning Herald. "Been having a pretty quiet day and letting it all soak in, which has been good. I actually didn't have the whisky I said I would ... on the plane. I was, to be honest, just more happy drinking water and rehydrating after the race."
Ahead of this weekend's race, the Red Bull Racing driver plans to enjoy Japan, a country is is very fond of.
"I love the food and people in Japan," he said. "Suzuka I have always loved. It's tough for a driver, a proper racer's circuit."
"I think I'll have a nice Japanese whisky at dinner and that will be the plan. I'm going out with Felipe Massa. He has booked a restaurant, he has friends here in Japan and they know a good old place."
