Jolyon Palmer is confident that the remaining races onf the 2016 Formula One season can help him retain his Renault seat.
Renault have yet to confirm their drivers for next season with Esteban Ocon, Sergio Perez, and the teams current drivers Kevin Magnussen and Palmer all in the frame.
Although many believe Palmer to be an outsider, he insists this isn't the case.
"Still obviously the [Renault] seats are in doubt, up for grabs, so every race from now on is a chance to show what I can do," he explained.
"I'll keep doing the job, I will know when I know, I know I'm in the mix and will just see how things pan out."
Speaking of this weekend, the 2015 GP2 champion feels he has a good chance of performing well.
"[Singapore is] a track I like, I feel like I'm driving the best I've driven all season, the results haven't shown in the last couple of races but I feel good in myself," he said. "Hopefully this [circuit] will suit our car a bit more and hopefully we can challenge a bit higher."
