Alfa Romeo would be good partner - Kaltenborn

Monisha Kaltenborn has joined Sergio Marchionne in not dismissing speculation Sauber might be snapped up by Alfa Romeo. Marchionne, the Fiat Chrysler and Ferrari president, has said multiple times recently that Alfa Romeo might rekindle its historic F1 foray in the not-too-distant future.

The financially struggling Sauber team has been linked with those rumours, so when asked if an acquisition is on the cards, Marchionne said in China: "If someone will assume all the debts..."

Sauber's team boss and co-owner Kaltenborn was absent in Bahrain, reportedly amid intense negotiations with potential investors about rescuing the embattled Swiss outfit. So when asked in China about the latest rumours, she told the Swiss newspaper Blick: "Alfa Romeo would be a good partner for any team." (GMM)

Take your ugly swindling mug and get of that team Monisha. No one should partner with this parasite.

Sorry to burst you're bubble Monisha, but they wouldn't be a partner, they would be THE team, and Sauber would no longer exist, that is my view anyway. I highly doubt the Ferrari president will keep it as Sauber due to there long running problems, and he would hopefully pay out Kaltenborn from her shares as she has proved she can't run the team. Banco do Brasil alone will be paying a fortune on Sponsorship funds. She should never had went against the other small teams when it came to reducing the power unit figures / using parallel engine rules @ Est. 8 Mill Euros.
