The Swiss-Sauber team revealed their 2014 car, the C33 online.
It features a very similar livery to last year, with a grey base coat and white/red detailing on the sidepods and monocoque. Sponsorship from Telmex, Claro and NEC is present as per last year also.
A rather elegant front-end is featured, with a rather unique and somewhat eye-pleasing 'anteater' style nose. The aerodynamic differences also include a sharp-triangular airbox, as well as two central rear-wing support beams, compared to McLaren's one.
The car will make its debut at the Jerez test, which gets underway on Tuesday. Drivers Esteban Gutierrez and new-signing Adrian Sutil are to share the driving duties. No announcement has been made as to whether test drivers Giedo van der Garde and Sergey Sirotkin will be present.
Sauber's Team Principal, Monisha Kaltenborn commented on their prospects for 2014; "We have put a very challenging year behind us.
The first half of 2013 in particular was difficult for us, but the second half saw us making significant strides. We learnt a great deal during this time and will be applying the lessons in the new season.
The C33 will be powered by the Ferrari 059/3 power unit, one of three teams to do so, along with Marussia and the works-Ferrari squad.
